Your Crawlspace FAQ
What is the warranty for your installation?
Our Your Crawlspace Vapor Barrier is guaranteed to be free from manufacturing
defects, flaws, holes and tears for a period of 25 years. The 25-year Your
Crawlspace Inc. warranty is effective only as long as the equipment installed by
Your Crawlspace Inc. is properly maintained and the relative humidity does not
exceed 55%. This warranty does not include damage resulting from abuse, moisture
from condensation or sudden water intrusion from broken pipes, floods or pest
damage (such as rodents chewing through the liner).
How much do installations usually cost?
Installations vary greatly depending on the size of a crawlspace and the amount of
liner needed. It also depends if additional materials, including access doors and
panels, sump pumps, hydro-static venting and mold and mildew treatment, are
required or desired to complete a job. The best way to get an accurate quote is to

What areas do you offer installation services?
Your Crawlspace, Inc. services primarily the Carolinas and Georgia for our Level-1
and Level-2 installations. If you are not located in these areas or would prefer to
save money and do it yourself, please refer to the Your Crawlspace Do-It-Yourself System.
How long do installations usually take?
This will vary depending on the size of the crawlspace, the number of piers and height of the area. But typically, if the
crawlspace is cleaned out, the system takes about 6-8 hours to install. It can take
longer, however, if the crawlspace needs to be cleaned or the walls need to be
lined, a sump pump or clean spray needs to be installed, etc.
What is included in the Do-It-Yourself kit?
The Do-It-Yourself kit includes 28 oz. adhesive tubes, seal tape, 20-mil Your
Crawlspace wall liner, which is non-woven to stick to any foundation medium and
options for the floor liner, which are woven poly with extruded . The floor liner

How do I know if I need a sump pump?
A sump pump is typically used to discharge excessive water build-up that
accumulates in the crawl space. It's usually only required if drainage by gravity is
not possible. Some sub areas have what is called a "drain to daylight" drainage
system that allows water to pass through or under the foundation wall.
Where can I find information regarding crawl space building codes?
Our Research & Resources section provides access to documentation regarding most
crawlspace issues, including building codes and research and reports. Always check
with your local building department, however, for specific codes relevant to your
area.
